AThree-Day Course Covering Application Performance Analysis/Visual Performance Management Administration
This Administration course delivers three days of hands‐on exercises designed to take your troubleshooting process to a new level. Teaching real world troubleshooting techniques and using tools as the Application Performance Appliance and Visual Performance Manager Server, students will learn how to approach network monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation to achieve real application performance improvements and identify problems on their networks. This class is taught using a full classroom network, with hands on access to the tools for students. All skills are reinforced through hands‐on exercises and a feature called “Try This Now!”, brief exercises that run through the entire course to enhance skills and concepts.
Participants will learn to:
- Install and Configure Visual Performance Manager
- Provision the Application Performance Appliance
- Generate Reports
- Troubleshoot Applications
Required prerequisites:
- Students must have a working knowledge of LAN technologies and topologies
- Basic knowledge of router and switch technologies
- Basic troubleshooting basics
